Waverley Site – 1885 Chancellor Drive – Main Hall
Capacity: 378 people maximum
Rental Fees (plus GST):
- $1,895 (plus GST) for either Friday or Saturday night.
- $2,295 (plus GST) for special event dates like New Years ‘Eve, Halloween or St. Patrick’s Day or Stat. Holiday
- Clients can add an additional hour to stay open until 2 a.m. for an additional $200 plus GST.
- Additional Bartenders can be booked with advance notice $200 plus GST.
- The South Winnipeg Community Centre strictly adheres to maximum capacity and the rules and regulations of the Liquor, Gaming and Cannabis Authority of Manitoba.
Fee Includes
- Two Bartenders (Third Bartender can be booked for extra $150)
- Air- Conditioning
- Kitchen area with Large counter space accessing main hall
- Access to multiple refrigeration units, a microwave & a stove
- Pepsi products: Tonic Water, Club Soda Cranberry and Orange Juices, Clamato (and Tabasco & Worcestershire)
- Coffee, to-go cups with lids, stir sticks, sugar/splenda and creamers /coffee-mate
- Ice, Beer Cups, liquor cups, liquor dispensers, and water pitchers
- Use of two cash boxes for the front door and ticket selling locations
- Set-up and take down of tables and chairs (8′ x 3′ rectangle available)
- Clean-up (washing of tables, floors and garbage removal
Deposit
A $400 damage deposit is required to secure your requested date. This $400 also serves as a security deposit for your social date. Your $400 damage deposit will be refunded by mail the following 10 business days should no damage occur. In the event damage has occurred, a SWCC General Manager will notify the renter.
In the event that you cancel your social within 90 days of the event. South Winnipeg Community Centre will not refund your deposit.
On the night of the social event a payment by credit card, debit, certified cheque, cash or money order must be made for the full amount.

- Up to 40 people, $249
- Up to 75 guests, add an additional $79
- Up to 100 guests, add an additional $109
Payment:
- Full payment is due 14 days prior.
Includes:
- Tables and chairs set up for people
- A large bouncer with two slides
- Kitchen Access (fridge, microwave, stove and freezer)
- Floor hockey and nerf soccer equipment
- Please bring your own plates, tablecloths, food serving utensils
- Clean up is provided by South Winnipeg Community Centre staff
Waverley Site only:
- Option to add unlimited pop ( Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, 7-up, Root Beer, Orange Crush, Iced Tea and water) includes cups.

- Weekends/Weekdays between 6:00-9:00pm
- Saturdays between 10:00 to 4:00pm
- Sundays between 12:00pm to 9:00pm
